Christmas Cakes

Rum-n-Raisin
cup of sugar
cup of flour
cup of sour cream
cup of raisins
1/4 cup of rum
2 eggs
2 tb spoon of butter
t spoon of baking coda
tb spoon of white vine vinegar
few drops of rum essence if you like it

Soak raisins in rum for half an hour. Melt butter. Mix together flour and baking soda. Mix together sugar, sour cream, eggs, butter, vinegar, add essence if desired. Put soaked raisins into flour and mix it into egg, sour cream and sugar mixture.
Bake in  buttered loaf pan in 350F  oven for 50 minutes.


Jägermeister Christmas
  
cup of sugar
cup of flour
cup of sour cream
cup of mixed citrus peel
1/4 cup of Jägermeister
2 eggs
2 tb spoon of butter
t spoon of baking coda
tb spoon of white vine vinegar
few drops of citrus essence if you like it

Soak mixed citrus peel in  Jägermeister for half an hour. Melt butter. Mix together flour and baking soda. Mix together sugar, sour cream, eggs, butter, vinegar, add essence if desired. Put soaked mixed citrus peel into flour and mix it into egg, sour cream and sugar mixture.
Bake in  buttered loaf pan in 350F  oven for 50 minutes.
